Pope Francis Steps Down

"In the dream, I was inside a gothic building that resembled a large Catholic Church or Basilica. Pope Francis was there, along with many other people. Everyone seemed to be aware that Pope Francis was stepping down as the pope. There was a middle aged woman there who was sitting in the front pew and began to talk to the pope and said to him: 'I will not be supporting you financially anymore; my money is only for the pope.'

I looked at Pope Francis and he said to the woman: 'I know'. I was there only as a spectator. I was able to see them, but they were not able to see me. Then the scene changed; and I saw another pastor of a large protestant church step down from his position as pastor; then I saw another pastor step down,and then another one. I saw several pastors do that. After this, the scene changed and I found myself in another room.

I was in this room trying to paste together pieces of newspaper articles with pictures containing these stories. It felt like I was trying to put together a very complex jigsaw puzzle; the only difference was that I was doing it with the newspaper headlines and articles that contained the stories that had been shown to me.

However, there was a part of the puzzle that I was having a lot of problems with and was not able to piece together. It was during that time that I received a phone call about the Pope stepping down. This phone was causing a lot of stir among the people. Then I woke up, and wrote it all down before I could forget it."

Interpretation:

From the dream I had it looks as if Pope Francis is going to step down as Pope sometime in the near future. I was not given the reason for this or a date. It also looks as if after the Pope steps down, other pastors are going to also step down from their positions as pastors of their churches. I could not recognize the faces of the pastors, but some of the churches were large. I was not shown the reason why this happened. It could be some sort of scandal, hidden sins, corruption, backsliding or all of the above.

It seems like there is much more to this story than I was shown, since I was trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together with newspaper articles but was not able to do it successfully, as there were some pieces missing. The fact that the jigsaw puzzle that I was putting together was made up of newspaper articles, seems to indicate that these things will come out in the news. The LORD is purging His House with fire. All the false and useless shepherds will be judged by the Chief Shepherd and removed from their places. The Almighty will give His people shepherds after His own heart. Judgment begins at the house of the LORD.

1 Peter 4:17-18 "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begins with us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?"

Ezekiel 34:15-24 "I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, says the Lord GOD. I will seek those who were lost, and bring again those who were driven away, and will bind up those who were broken, and will strengthen those who were sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment. And as for you, O my flock, thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between sheep and sheep, between the rams and the male goats. Seems it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but must you tread down with your feet the rest of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but must you foul the rest with your feet? And as for my flock, they eat that which you have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which you have fouled with your feet. Therefore thus says the Lord GOD unto them;

Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat sheep and between the lean sheep. Because you have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till you have scattered them abroad; Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep. And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it."
